Recently we have had some alumni call us and ask us if they could send referrals to our Dana Point sober homes. Currently, our Dana Point sober living homes in Orange County, California are being renovated luxury beach-home style and will be used to help our patients that undergo treatment and will be insurance-based. These sober livings are restructured to house men that will need a place to stay sober while being provided mental health treatment. So, if you still want to send us referrals, we are honored, and welcome them but for those that want to have private-pay sober homes, we will house them in our Laguna Hills locations. He has helped to instill the tools and characteristics young men need to be successful members of society. He is also present he checks in on clients and will go beyond the call of duty help you if you are helping yourself. The house is top notch view of the ocean and spacious so you aren't cramped up while here.  All the guys in the house are awesome and I would not recommend any other sober living for my friends or Family members. Completely turned my life around and made me into more of a man.

A resident that enters into one of our sober livings cannot be under the influence so if you do need to have treatment before, feel free to call us and we can refer you to one of our vetted long-term partners that excels at detoxification and is also local.
4. What rules do sober living homes have?
Sober living homes vary in their rules. At KHR Orange County Sober Living our rules are simple. Keep the house clean, go to meetings and stay sober and be kind. We actually have a rule sheet that each resident can read but having been doing this for over a decade now, we understand what is takes to stay sober and that is what we promote. We love it when our resident alumni are sober and thriving. In fact, we are fortunate that many are able to maintain their sobriety and refer us to their friends.
5. How long should I stay in a sober living?
This really depends on how long you need a sober living to stay sober. Some of our residents have decided to be with us for years. Others get jobs, get married and get a place of their own. At KHR Orange County Sober Living we promote independence but only when you or a loved one is ready. Three to six months is a minimum at a sober living. If you want to stay longer, you are welcome to as long as you adhere to the rules of the house and respect your peers.
